Fishing reports for Beaverhead river are available from many different sources but the Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks website offers the best and most up to date reports in the State of Montana. It joins with the Big Hole River at Twin Bridges, Montana, to form the Jefferson River. The water in the Beaverhead River is cold, except in areas located in the lower river. The Beaver Head River is one of the premier brown trout fishing rivers in the untied States and the best in Montana. The Beaverhead produces more large trout, mainly brown trout, than any other river in Montana.
